COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Months after a shooting sent people running into the street in Downtown Fort Myers, authorities have arrested the suspected shooter.
Rajeah Hall was arrested in Collier County early Thursday morning, taken into custody by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and the US Marshall Regional Task Force.
According to FMPD, Hall fired several shots in the early morning hours of Sunday January 23, near several bars on Hendry Street in Downtown Fort Myers.
Witnesses told police people were screaming and running after six to seven shots were fired.

“It was after last call it was after 2 a.m. So there were bartenders still inside of the bar and they heard it and they went into the bathroom to hide. It was really intense,” said Vanessa Dryden, who works at the Indigo Room.
No one was hurt in the shooting.
Hall took off from the shooting scene and lead police on a chase ending in a crash at Lee Boulevard and Sunshine Boulevard in Lehigh Acres, investigators said. He crashed his car into a tree at a 7-Eleven and took off on foot, managing to evade authorities for several months.
Hall will be extradited from Collier County.
