FORT MYERS, Fla. – One person was killed in a crash on Winkler Avenue at Ford Street in Fort Myers Monday afternoon.
Winkler Avenue is completely shut down in the area as investigators continue to work the scene, according to the Fort Myers Police Department. Traffic is being diverted at both Metro Pkwy and Schoolhouse Road.

Police confirmed several others were injured in the crash and are working to determine the extent of their injuries.
