CAPE CORAL, Fla. – A Cape Coral woman has been arrested after she was caught hiding and stealing jewelry from a department store.
Jessica Urbanski, 36, was stopped by Kohl’s Loss Prevention after she was caught on camera stealing from the store at 513 SW Pine Island Road on Sunday.
She was seen grabbing handfuls of jewelry and concealing them in her dress while walking around. She then selected several dressed before entering a fitting room.
When she emerged from the room, a large amount of empty jewelry tags could be found on the floor.
Urbanski then left the store, but while in the parking lot was tracking down by an employee and brought back into the store.
Cape Coral Police was called onto the scene and after searching her purse, were able to find the jewelry that was taken from the story.
In total, Urbanski would steal 35 different pieces of jewelry with an estimated value of $750.00. She was arrested and has been charged with larceny.
