BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — A Lee County man is severely injured after he was dragged 10 feet on the road by another car in the aftermath of a hit and run crash early Sunday morning.
According to detectives, the crash occurred in the area of Calypso Way and Torchfire Trail.
A witness driving home at around 2 a.m. found the 40-year-old man severely bleeding and lying in the roadway. The man had been reportedly dragged for 10 feet by another car after being involved in a crash where the other driver fled the scene.
The man was taken to Gulf Coast Hospital with severe injuries from the crash, detectives said.
