LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Residents and visitors alike, it’s time to get excited because the Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair is opening its gates on Feb. 23!
The fair is creeping closer to its centennial season as 2023 marks its 99th year of making memories in Southwest Florida.
The gates will open at 4:00 pm, and with opening day comes dollar day too. Opening day gate admissions are just $1, as well as ride admissions with a $10 minimum purchase.
Only gate admissions can be purchased in advance at a discounted price. Ride tickets can be purchased at the fairgrounds. For more information on daily admissions, you can click here.
The Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair is located at the Lee County Civic Center on 11831 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers, FL 33917.
Officials advised people to leave pets at home as they will not be permitted on the fairgrounds. Emotional support animals will not be allowed on the grounds as well. However, service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disability Act, are allowed at the fair.
Guests can show up early to the front gates by attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair at 3:45 PM.
The Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair will run through March 5.
