FORT MYERS, Fla. — Three cars caught fire outside a home in Fort Myers Wednesday morning.
Firefighters arrived at the home on Maravilla Circle around 5:49 a.m. When they were on the way, firefighters were “updated that it was possibly a vehicle on fire, inside a garage, with smoke and flames showing,” according to the Fort Myers Fire Department.
When crews arrived, three cars on fire were threatening a home. They immediately pulled hose lines, placing themselves between the home and cars on fire.
“The fire was brought under control and a check for extension to the structure was completed,” FMFD posted.
At this time, there is no official word yet on what started the fire. No injuries have been reported.
The State Fire Marshall is further investigating.
