FORT MYERS, Fla. – One person was shot near an apartment complex on Winkler Avenue in Fort Myers.
The Fort Myers Police Department said officers are establishing a crime scene. Two crime scene vans arrived to join the investigation.
The shooting happened at the Village Creek Apartments.
The victim has non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital, according to police.
