CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A new apartment complex is going in at the Four Corners off Agualinda Boulevard and Beach Parkway. It’s the first major development in this area.
The Cape Southwest Apartment complex could break ground as early as December. Officials from the complex said they believe the four-story complex will add to the surrounding community. The complex will also provide much-needed rental options in Cape Coral.
Back in 2019, residents voiced their concerns over how the four corners were zoned. Currently, three corners are zoned residential multi-family, and one corner is zoned commercial.
“We’re still upset with it but it is what it is,” said Cape Coral resident Pascha Donaldson. “We are concerned about the commercial, and exactly what will go in there.”
A for sale sign is currently sitting on the commercial lot. NBC 2 has asked the City of Cape Coral if any other developments are planned in the area but has not heard back.
