LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Lee County deputies are investigating a death in Lehigh Acres.
Several deputies and drones are on scene where a body is laying in the road on Long Avenue at Cervantes Street East on Friday morning.
Bullet casings were seen on the ground nearby but it’s unclear if they are tied to the scene.
Crime scene tape is surrounding the area.
Back in November, NBC2 reported on a shooting on Cervantes Street East in which four people were shot. So far, no arrests have been made in connection to the shooting.
No further information on the death investigation was immediately available.
