NAPLES, Fla. – St. Matthew’s House, in partnership with the Midwest Food and Harry Chapin Food Banks, will hold a record 10 food distributions this week to meet the needs of those experiencing hunger in Lee and Collier Counties.

We can confirm St. Matthew’s House is seeing a significant increase in the number of families coming to our distributions, while even setting a few site records recently.
With the high inflation rate, St. Matthew’s House said more people are trying to save money by receiving $80-$100 worth of food at their distributions, and then using that money saved to pay for other essentials like rent or mortgage, children’s tuition, gas, electricity, medicine, etc.
