FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. – One person was taken to the hospital after they crashed a scooter on Fort Myers Beach.
The Fort Myers Beach Fire Department responded to the crash on Estero Boulevard near Carolina Avenue on Monday morning.
Fire officials said they found one person on the ground with non-life threatening injuries. They were taken an area hospital for treatment.
The scooter was the only vehicle involved in the crash, according to investigators.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
