FORT MYERS, Fla. — Many businesses around our community are still dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Ian and trying to navigate where to go from here.
One of those businesses is Gymnastic World of Fort Myers.
The gym flooded and ruined training equipment inside, leaving the gymnasts without a place to train right in the middle of meet season.
That’s when Naples Progressive Gymnastics and Southern Starz in Cape Coral stepped in to help.
Both of the gyms were generous enough to offer the team training space until their own gym is able to get back up and running.
And that’s not the only way Gymnastic World is getting help.
National leotard company, OZONE, has partnered with Gym World to sell “Southwest Florida Strong” leos.
Half of the proceeds will go towards rebuilding Gymnastic World of Fort Myers, and the other half will go to the Southwest Florida Relief Fund.
The leos are currently on sale right now through November 1.
