CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The post office on SW 4th St in Cape Coral will have 24/7 access to the lobby.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Monday, August 14 to commemorate the new location.
The Cape Coral North Post Office had its soft opening in June and residents like Steve Florio are already making use of it.
“I live off burnt store and gulfstream and they just opened this post office, which is beautiful,” said Florio.
This is the fourth post office in the city.

Florio said this new location is very convenient and a time saver!
“I had to go to cultural before and that one was so busy. It was like jury duty,” said Florio jokingly.
There will be a vending machine installed in the lobby where you will be able to access products at your convenience, such as postage stamps.
USPS said it does not anticipate on opening a new post office in Cape Coral anytime soon.
