Barron Collier has had pretty good success on the road this year. In their 8-2 season, the Cougars picked up Ws in every single away game. Six of them to be exact. But the first round of the postseason would be their toughest test yet. Port Charlotte has not only averaged over 45 points per game this year, but the defense has been incredible, too, only allowing 13 points per game.
Pirates’ Edd Guerrier scored three touchdowns, all within the first half in this playoff matchup, heading into the break leading 42-17. The second half was more of the same as Port Charlotte took down Barron Collier 62-25.
